| Abstract: | Based on the theory of contact strain, this paper discusses the contact strain of the fold structure in Sichuan Basin. The authors present first a new cognition of pattern and genesis of the fold structure in Sichuan Basin. Based on the research of geology and geophysics, the authors raise a concept of wedge structure of lithosphere, a structural model of lithosphere in Sichuan Basin and its adjacent areas. |
