| Abstract: | LetK be an imaginary abelian number field. By means of a generalization of Maillet and Demyanenko determinants we give a relative
class number formula for an intermediate field of the cyclotomic ℤp-extension ofK. The degree of the generalized determinant is a half of the degree ofK over ℚ. |
