| Abstract: | We record the accurate and reliable Raman spectra of p-nitrobenzoic acid (PNBA) in aqueous solution with ultraviolet excitation and the bands are attributed. We also report the phenomenon of surface Raman spectroscopy of PNBA in silver colloid without any enhancement in UV region. The possible mechanism of this phenomenon are discussed. |
