| Abstract: | Two methods for the chemical bonding of thiourea and its derivatives on dispersed silica have been developed as a result of a detailed study of the process of the thiourea chemisorption on silica surface. Obtained S-containing silicas possess a high extraction efficiency for heavy metal ions. |
