Abstract:A series .of LaMnyCo1-yO3 compounds were prepared by the complexation method with citric acid. XPS was used to investigate the oxygen state in perovskite-type (ABO3) Complex oxide LaMnyCo1-yO3 catalysts. The result showed that three oxygen species (α,β,β') are present in the oxides, and that theα-species is the active oxygen species in catalytical oxidation.
