| Abstract: | The generation of dichlorocarbene from chloroform can be promoted effectively by the combination of ultrasonic irradiation and phase-transfer catalysis. It seems to be a novel practical method for generating dichlorocarbene with shorter reaction time, better yield and less amount of catalyst. |
