| Abstract: | Traditional Chinese medicines water decotion was prepared by simulating traditional decoting method and a method was established for the determination of six kinds of heavy metal elements such as Pb, Cd, Cr, Cu, As, Hg in five traditional Chinese medicines and their respective decoctions by microwave digestion - ICP - MS. The microwave digestion conditions and the parameters of ICP -MS were optimized. Detection limits of elements were 0. 0001 -0. 003μg/L, and the relative standard deviations were 1.9% - 3.9% （ n = 7）. The recoveries were 93.6% - 98.1% for Chinese traditional medicines, and 92.8% - 102.6% for decoctions. The extractive rates were not more than 21.9% after the traditional Chinese medicines being deeoeted, which showed the heavy metal elements were difficult to decoct. |
