| Abstract: | A new method for synthesis of titanocyclopentadiene complexes was found in the investigation of the reaction of bis(cyclopentadienyl)-bis(phenylethynyl)titanium with bromine, hydrom bromide, carbon tetrabromide, carbon tetrachloride and methyl iodide, The method was used to synthetize five title compounds, which were difficult to prepare by other methods. A possible mechanism of the reaction was suggested. |
