Abstract: | The measurement of the electric dipole of gas phase one-excess electron CsnCln−1 clusters is reported together with a theoretical ab initio prediction of stable structures, dipole moments and electronic polarizabilities for these species in their ground state. Results are in agreement with NaCl cubic structures. |
