Abstract:Microstructure evolution in Co-Cr-Ni-W alloy produced by laser rapid salidi fication (RS) was investigated using transmission electron microscope(TEM),energy dispersive analysis of X-ray (EDAX)and X-ray Diffraction (XRD).The results indicate that primary Co (ordered fcc) supersaturated solid solution consists in dendrites surrounded with eutectic of Co solution and M23 C6 carbides,solid solubility of Cr in Co extends to 54 wt-%,crystallite size fines down to 10 nm in primary phase where great densities of dislocation and stacking faults forme.
