Wavelet Analysis of a Single Pulse in a Linearly Elastic Composite

Abstract:Wavelet analysis is applied to study the evolution of a solitary wave propagating in a microstructural material (composite). Representing the solution in terms of elastic wavelets makes it possible to reveal the main wave microstructural effects and to extend the class of initial pulses.
