Heat transfer to a continuous moving flat surface with variable wall temperature |

| Abstract: | Transient heat transfer from a continuous moving flat surface with varying wall temperature is studied. Numerical results are presented for the transient temperature profiles and heat transfer rates from the wall for Prandtl numbers varying from 0.01 to 1000. Asymptotic solutions for steady state heat transfer rates for large Prandtl number are also presented. |
