| Abstract: | A new method for formylation of deoxyvasicinone (DOV) was developed. Nucleophilic substitution of α-hydroxy- and -dimethylaminomethylidene-DOV by isomeric aminophenols and benzoic acids to give α-arylaminomethylidene-DOV was studied. |
