| Abstract: | The total syntheses of DAB1 (1) and (-)-lentiginosine (2) were concisely accomplished from D-lyxose via regioselective and diastereoselective NHCbz introduction using CSI, chemoselective removal of the Cbz protection, and ring-closing metathesis as key steps. |
