Study of 1kW transverse flow CW helium-free CO2 laser |

| Abstract: | Experimental results are reported on a 1 kW transverse flow CW CO2 laser in which helium is replaced by argon, the main parameters are the same as those of using helium. Also given are the construction feature of the laser, the factors causing temperature increase and the corresponding measures taken. The influence of argon on the upper energy level of CO2 are analysed. |
