| Abstract: | Using the atomic beam magnetic resonance method four hyperfine structure frequencies have been measured in the ground state4 I 15/2 of Ho165 with high precision at magnetic fields of up to 800 Oersted. In the analysis of these measurements a possible electrical sedecimpole (16-pole) interaction was included. The following multipole interaction constants could be calculated:A=800.582 8 (14) MHzB=?1668.100 (91) MHzC=?2224 (7520) HzD=?398 (790) Hz. Thus within the limits of this experiment no octopole or sedecimpole interaction could be established. |
