| Abstract: | An analytical method based on GC-MS has been developed for the determination of benzophenone and 4-methyl benzophenone in sunflower oil simulants of food packaging.The samples were extracted with acetonitrile using vortex and centrifuge.The extract was analyzed by GC-MS in selected ion monitoring(SIM) mode.The target analytes were quantified by external standard method.The limits of detection(S/N=3)for benzophenone and 4-methyl benzophenone were 0.02 mg/kg and 0.03 mg/kg.The mean recoveries of the two compo... |
