Fabrication of nanoreactors based on polyoxoperoxometalates and enhancement of their catalytic activity

Abstract:The nanoreactors were fabricated by reacting amphiphilic quaternary ammoniums and polyoxoperoxometalates K_n[PW_(12-x)Ti_(x-) O_(40-x)(O_2)_x](x=1,2 and 3;n = 5,7 and 9)(K_5[PW_(11)TiO_(39)(O_2)],K_7[PW_(10)Ti_2O_(38)(O_2)_2]and K_9[PW_9Ti_3O_(37)(O_2)_3]).Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),transmission electron microscopy(TEM) were used to characterize the resulting samples.
