Two Cerebrosides and One Acylglycosyl Sterol from Monochoria Vaginalis

Three new compounds have been isolated from the whole plant of Monochoria vaginalis and characterized as: (2S,3R,4E,8E,2′R)‐1‐O‐(β‐D ‐glucopyranosyl)‐N‐(2′‐hydroxyicosanoyl)‐4,8‐sphingadienine, (2S,3R,4E,8E,2′R)‐1‐O‐(β‐D ‐glucopyranosyl)‐N‐(2′‐hydroxyoctadecanoyl)‐4,8‐sphingadienine and 7‐oxostigmasteryl‐3‐O‐(6′‐hexadecanoyl)‐β‐D ‐glucopyranoside. Their structures were established by spectral and chemical evidence.
