| Abstract: | Pd-catalyzed Heck arylation of allyl alcohols in tetraalkylammonium ionic liquids (ILs) can be made highly selective toward the formation of either aromatic carbonyl compounds or aromatic conjugated alcohols by carefully choosing both the IL and the base. |
