Abstract:Dual-energy CT imaging technique is widely used in the field of medicine and security inspection and can be classified into two types: true dual-energy imaging and pseudo dual-energy imaging.Aiming at the mismatching of spatial location of high and low energy sinograms,one fast registration method for high and low energy sinograms is put forward.According to the proposed algorithm,the relative displacement on the projection angle of high and low sinograms is detected using correlation coefficient.Because of the large computation of two-dimensional correlation coefficient,the right half of sinogram or the left half of the sinogram is horizontally projected to convert two-dimensional signal to one-dimensional signal.The fast calculation method of correlation coefficient for one-dimensional signal is designed and then a fast numerical algorithm for the solution of maximum correlation coefficient is put forward to detect the displacement of one-dimensional signal,and then the relative displacement of high and low sinograms can be got.So the sinogram registration can be accomplished.Actual experimental results verify the effectiveness of the algorithm.
