Abstract:In reverse engineering,the limits of measuring accuracy and the impossibility of direct combination of data and 3D display system bottleneck the subject's development.Hence it has great significance for the rebuilding of the 3D model based on immense amounts of point data.The generating process of the traditional realistic images based on polygon meshes,as well as Bezier interpolation thinning are studied,and the shortages and deficiencies are analyzed.Based on which a new method of 3D model's building is proposed,which consists of monolayer bead algorithm,adjacent layer grid algorithm,and model lubricity algorithm.Compared with the traditional method,it reduces the computing time,saves storage space greatly and has a better utility and practicability.
