Exact solution of the Navier-Stokes equations for theoscillating flow in a duct of a cross-section of right-angled isosceles triangle

Abstract:The Navier-Stokes equations have been solved in order toobtain an analytical solution of the fully developed laminar flowin a duct having a cross section of a right-angled, isoscelestriangle. We obtained a solution for the case of oscillatingpressure gradient flow. The pulsating flow is obtained by thesuperposition of the steady and oscillating pressure gradientsolutions.
