| Abstract: | Recent studies reveal that much of our conventional knowledge of aerodynamics fails to reasonably predict the wing kinematics of insects. The flight mechanism of insects is gaining attention due to possible applications in micromachines. The methods for measuring the wing parameters and the means for analyzing these parameters are described. |
