| Abstract: | The energy levels and lifetimes of 4sns3S1 (n=5-25), 4snd3D1 (n=4-25) and 4snp1P1 (n=5-15) of Zn I have been evaluated using the multichannel quantum defect theory (MQDT). The calculated lifetimes of 4sns3S1 and 4snd3D1 characterized by the effective quantum ν are given by the formula  and  , respectively. |
