| Abstract: | A convenient method is described for the synthesis of functionalized spirocycloalkanono-2,3 -thiophenes] by treatment of cyclic 3-oxoacid thioanilides with  -nitrostyrenes. Reaction of the obtained products with acetic anhydride yielded the corresponding oxime acetates. |
