| Abstract: | The ethyl ester of oxalic acid piperylhydrazide has been synthesized, and its reactions with organomagnesium compounds investigated. The piperylhydrazides of diaryl-, dialkyl-, and dithienylglycolic acids have been obtained, and their properties examined. The IR and UV spectra of the compounds obtained, and the spectra of the halochromic salts and the basicity of the diaryl- and dithienylglycolic piperylhydrazides, were studied.For part LI, see [1]. |
