Abstract: | A conductance electrode consisting of carbon "pultrusion" rod embedded in PTFE has been shown to have similar characteristics to those of the traditional platinum-on-glass type. The new electrode has the advantages of being both robust and inexpensive and could prove particularly useful in Karl Fischer analyses of biological material where maceration of the sample is required. |
