| Abstract: | A new flexible approach to hexahydropyrrolo[2,3-b]indole system via the [3,3]-sigmatropic rearrangement of 1-(2′-methoxycarbonyl-N-methylvinylamino)skatole, culminating in the synthesis of (±)-desoxyeseroline, is described. |
