Abstract: | Significant improvements in the synthesis of pyrido-fused heterocycles were observed when performing the reaction under solvent-free conditions, applying the tert-amino effect as the key ring closure methodology. An unexpected cyclization of ortho-(1′-azacycloalkyl)benzaldehydes has been studied in water and on solid support. |
