Initial and Internal Limits of Supertemperatures

Abstract:Let D and E be open subsets of 
$$R^{n + 1} $$
which meet 
$$R^n  \times \{ 0\} $$
, with E bounded and 
$$\overline E $$
sub D, and let 
$$D_ +   = D \cap (R^n  \times ]0,\infty )$$
. Given a non-negative supertemperature u on D +, we express its restriction to E + as the sum of a temperature that vanishes at time 0, and a potential on 
$$R^{n + 1} $$
that vanishes for all negative time. This enables us to use initial limit theorems about such potentials to prove similar results for u.
