Practical Use of Distributions in Network Analysis

When modelling project networks under uncertainty, there are a variety of probability distributions from which to choose for activity-durations. From experience of risk analysis in practice, this paper offers some conclusions on how many and which parameters should be estimated, and which distributions should be used.
