Possibility of using lasers for spectral analysis of copper-base alloys

Recent studies have shown that it is possible to use lasers for emission spectral analysis 1–3], The focused laser beam vaporizes and excites the atoms of the sample. The possibilities of this new light source for spectral analysis are the subject of the present paper.Presented at the 16th All-Union Conference on Applied Spectroscopy on 28 January 1965.
