| Abstract: | In this paper, based on the modified potential energy functional and by introducing the generalized conforming conditions, a generalized conforming Sector element for thin plate bending with 12 degrees of freedom, GC-S12, is developed. The advantages of this element are.less degrees of freedom, simpler formulas and higher precision. |
