| Abstract: | Syntheses of 2-amino-7-(2-hydroxyethoxymethyl)imidazo5,1-f]-1,2,4-triazin-4(3H)-one ( 2 ) and 6-amino-3-(2-hydroxyethoxymethyl)-1,2,4-triazolo3,4-f]-1,2,4-triazin-8(7H)-one ( 3 ), novel isosteres of the antiviral agent acyclovir, are reported. |
