| Abstract: | The preparation of 1-aryloxymethyl-1,2,3-triazoles, potential biologically active compounds particularly in the pesticide field, is described. The action of sodium azide on aryloxymethyl halides gave aryloxymethyl azides. The cycloaddition reactions of azides with acetylenic compounds provided the expected triazoles in good yields. |
