Abstract: | Several new electrocatalytic systems are described for the oxidation of cyclohexane by molecular oxygen at room temperature. The solvent is acetonitrile. Perchloric acid and perchlorates are used as supporting electrolytes. The maximum electrochemical yield amounts to 9.6% and is observed in the presence of perchloric acid.
