高斯光束的数值模拟新方法

摘    要:基于高斯光束的单叶双曲面特征,给出了一种新的模拟高斯光束的数值方法.该方法将高斯光束视为由无数个共轴单叶双曲面构成的双曲线体,由束腰截面发射的光子传播方向是在经过该光子发射点的双曲面内两条直母线中等概率选择.这不仅符合光子沿直线传播,而且意味着大量光子的“平均”传播方向与相应高斯光束的波印廷矢量相同.数值模拟结果表明:该方法可高准确度地模拟高斯光束的几何构形、光强分布、光子的光程分布和波前曲率半径,而且模拟效率与现有的方法相近.

Abstract:Based on Gaussian beam′s characteristic of hyperboloid with one sheet,a new numerical method to simulate Gaussian beam is presented.The method takes the Gaussian beam as a hyperboloid consisting of myriads of co-axis hyperboloids of one sheet,and the propagation direction of a photon launched from the beam-waist section is chosen equiprobably and stochastically between the two generatrices of the hyperboloid that goes through the photon′s initial emission point.It not only conforms to rectilinear propagation of photon,but also means that the “average” propagation direction of a lot of photons is in the direction of the Poynting′s vector of the corresponding Gaussian beam.The numerical simulation results show that the method can simulate Gaussian beam′s geometric configuration,intensity distribution,all photons′ optical-path distribution,and the radius of wavefront with high accuracy,and its simulation efficiency is close to those existing methods.
