| Abstract: | A study is made of the secondary flows which arise in the boundary layers on a semi-infinite plate and on an infinite cone
(supersonic regime) in the presence of the transverse slipping effect. The selfsimilar velocity profiles are determined, and
the recoil force acting in the region of the leading edge of the plate is calculated, along with the distribution of the density
of the axial torque along the generator of the cone.
