| Abstract: | Borwein, Bojanov, Erdélyi, and others, have studieddensity and approximation properties of those Markov systems of differentiablefunctions on a closed interval a,b], having the property thatthe system of derivatives is a Markov system on the open interval (a,b).In this paper we show that several of these results are valid for anyMarkov system of continuous functions on a closed interval. |
