Convenient Synthesis of 3,5‐Biscarbamoyl‐pyridine Derivatives

Abstract:An efficient and convenient method for synthesis of 3,5‐bis‐carbamoyl‐2,6‐dimethylpyridine derivatives was achieved in good to excellent yields by reaction of anilines with 3,5‐bis(3′,5′‐dimethyl‐1′‐pyrazolyl‐carbonyl)‐2,6‐dimethylpyridine, in which pyrazoles served as leaving groups. The structures of products were confirmed by spectra data and microanalysis.
