| Abstract: | The complete structure of a sesquiterpene dialdehyde (“velleral”), isolated from Lactarius vellereus and L. pergamenus, has been elucidated by means of IR, UV, 13C-NMR spectroscopy, NOE measurements and computer simulation of the 1H-NMR spectrum. |
