| Abstract: | A method is proposed for the search of the conformational isomerization paths and barriers to interconversion. Use of this method in the study of the ring interconversion ofα-d-glucose gives the minimal barrier for 1C ? C 1 isomerization, which is in agreement with the experimental data. |
