Controlled synthesis of CdS nanowires using diamines |

| Abstract: | We demonstrate a new, simple, inexpensive process andsystemic control over CdS nanowires using sulfur powders andorganic diamines without any catalysts, surfactants, andtemplates under atmospheric benchtop conditions. By changing thekinds of amines and reaction temperatures can result in controlof the shape and size of the nanocrystals, which are moderatelymonodispered with unique forms. |
