| Abstract: | Alkyl type radicals stable at room temperature and incorporating a double bond not conjugated with the free valence, ≡Si−C(=CH2)−CH2−CH2, are formed in the reaction of methylenecyclopropane with silyl radicals (≡SiO)3Si on an activated Aerosil surface.
