Convex combination of nonlinear adaptive filters for active noise control

Abstract:This paper proposes a nonlinear active noise control (ANC) system based on convex combination of a functional link artificial neural network (FLANN) and a Volterra filter. Simulation study reveals enhanced noise cancelation performance of the proposed ANC system over the ones based on its component filters.
