| Abstract: | The synthesis of salicylic acid derivatives of 1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane has been described. The complexing properties of these compounds towards metal cations were investigated by absorption and emission spectroscopy, and 1H NMR. The X-ray structure of L-2 nitrate is reported. |
