Abstract: | The plane problem of unsteady nonisothermal seepage of steam in permeable subsurface layers of geothermal systems is analyzed in the framework of the theory of heterogeneous media. The equations of hydrodynamics and heat transfer are posed for a saturated porous medium and for the surrounding bedrock and the boundary conditions are formulated. A finite-difference scheme is constructed for numerical solution of the system of five nonlinear partial differential equations and their stability is analyzed.
