| Abstract: | A mild and convenient procedure has been developed for the reduction of oximes to amines in a single step involving treatment of the oxime with TiCl3 in the presence of NaBH3 CN. This method is especially useful for those substrates in which the intermediate imine is readily hydrolyzed. |
