| Abstract: | Ester exchange reaction of oxyphosphorane (1) with thymidine (2) afforded diastereomeric spirooxyphosphoranes 3 under mild conditions in good yield. After hydrolysis, thymidine phosphates monomers (5, 6) and dimer (7) were obtained. |
